Commissioned by Andy and Tanna Bayola
This simple and well-known children's hymn-carol reminds of the humble nativity surroundings, above which the angels sang to those who had ears to hear— "Christ the babe is born for you." In keeping with the innocence and simplicity of the original text and music, this arrangement utilizes unison melodic singing, with only an occassional divisi. The gentle piano accompaniment and lyric flute interludes make this a beautiful arrangement for Christmas services, and is appropriate for both beginning and advanced choirs.

Love Divine, All Loves Excelling
This Wesley hymn text is among his most well known and well loved. First published in 1747, it is an anthem of both praise and petition and a looking-forward to heavenly glories to come. Frequently set to the hymn tunes Beecher and Hyfrydol, here for the first time it is set to Beech Spring, an early American folk tune which provides a distinct strength matching this stirring verse. Orchestral parts also available on rental. (Catalogue PM1026)

O Little Town of Bethlehem
Where meek souls will receive him still,
the dear Christ enters in.
The hushed and humble scene of Bethlehem is portrayed in a sustained and gentle setting appropriate for small church choir or large concert chorus. The organ accompaniment draws our minds towards another 'green hill far away' towards which this promised infant birth points.
A fresh, new lyrical setting of the classical carol accompanied by a highly expressive piano part. May also incorporate soprano soloist if desired.
Drawing from less familiar carol texts from the 15th century through the present, six new carols are presented in the traditional four-part texture, with a sprinkling of additional contemporary harmonies fitting the individual spirit of the texts. A refreshing holiday collection appropriate for both concert and non-concert performances. (Catalogue PM2001)
